Power-pop rockers Throwback Suburbia are gearing up to bring their brand of classic, hook laden music to the masses and Canadian guitar manufacturer Eastwood Guitars has offered up their support.
On their way to the Orangeville Blues & Jazz Festival last week, Joe and Vickie Price dropped in for a visit at the Eastwood Guitars Players Lounge. Joe has been a big fan of Eastwood guitars for some time and wanted to show us his modded Airline Map guitar.
2009 was a great year for videos of Eastwood Guitars showing up on YouTube. Here are several that I found.

Dave Hogan, CT USA is the winner of the Hollerado guitar contest. CONGRATULATIONS Dave! We gave him the choice of a new one or the one that Hollerado beat up on their tour, Dave chose the new one. The beater will remain in the Eastwood Hall of Shame… Rock ‘n Roll, gotta love it!
Once again it’s been a busy fall concert schedule here in Toronto. Here is what I’d picked out for the first half of October. Here are some photo’s, videos and comments from a few. Beck with Jessica Dobson playing her Airline Tuxedo Guitar. If you have never been to a Beck show, do yourself a favor, GO!
When Squeeze were coming through Toronto this August, Mike talked with the singer/songwriter Chris Difford, and found out that their two Eastwood guitars went missing. So Mike arranged to replace their guitars free of charge. After the sold out show at Koolhouse, Mike Robinson presented Chris Difford with a beautiful Airline 3P DLX and handed Glenn Tilbrook an Eastwood Wandre DLX. The smiling British song writing duo were elated by his generosity.
